The Interactive Experience
The PeakABoo modal is the living, breathing conversational core of PeakCade, acting as a contextual state machine that keeps the AI present yet non-intrusive, syncing chat state with the current screen for seamless continuity.
PeakABoo's dialogue style strikes a deliberate balance: polite and helpful, while layering in playful, lightly challenging energy that feels encouraging.
To get started, try saying/asking:

Problem & Approach
Players and owners often needed fast answers:
“Why isn’t my score there?”
“How do I challenge someone?”
“What game is hot right now?”
But digging through menus broke the flow and felt impersonal.
I approached PeakABoo as a contextual sidekick, not a separate tab: always accessible, low-friction, and deeply tied to the app’s retro-competitive spirit.
Core tone: short sentences, gamer slang, light emojis, zero corporate stiffness.
Journey Map
PeakABoo launches as a subtle chat teaser on PeakCade’s homepage, activating via tap or QR scan with an instant neon modal greeting and quick-reply chips for zero-friction actions.
It reads screen context to deliver targeted help, troubleshooting scores, pulling leaderboards, and suggesting challenges while keeping the app fully visible.
Users dismiss easily with ×, returning seamlessly, and PeakABoo lingers “Online” for future sessions, learning preferences over time to evolve into a personalized, addictive arcade buddy that makes every interaction faster, more fun, and deeply on-brand.
